Workshop: Fri 4th June – Butter and Cheese Making with Vivia Bamford
Friday 4th June 2021
A story of cheeses lost and gained.
Suffolk has a curious history of cheese and butter making, at its worst the cheese was banned, and sad tales were told of how awful it was. At its best it has been award-winning and market leading. Even in this last year amazing things have been done to keep the Suffolk dairy industry strong and growing at a time of challenge.
Join us for the intriguing timeline of Suffolk cheese along with a demonstration of paneer and butter making.
All daytime courses start at 9.30am with hot and cold drinks and a welcoming chat with your hosts. After the morning session, an informal light, two course Froize lunch will be served. The afternoon session will end at approx. 2.30pm
Cost for each course is £55.00 per person including lunch & vat.
Numbers on the various courses are limited – Early booking advised.
