Ceilidh with Stumpy Oak – Saturday 21st September 2024

We’ve got a weekend of dance lined up for you starting with the incredible Stumpy Oak Ceilidh dance band on Saturday evening in our beautiful sailcloth tent in the Froize garden.

Stumpy Oak are an East Anglian dancefloor-packing band of professional, experienced ceilidh musicians who play English, Irish and Scottish traditional music with non-gendered calling. Stumpy Oak boasts an unusually large sound with fiery fiddle, accordion and guitar. A friendly, patient caller completes the line-up to talk guests through the dance moves prior to/during each dance so that everyone knows what to do and can have fun.

Even though this event is all about getting up and dancing, as it is taking place in a tent and we can never rely on the British weather, please be sure to come prepared with warm layers!

Doors will be open from 6.30pm. An optional two course supper is available from 6.30pm – please book your supper at the same time as buying your ticket for the performance (vegan, vegetarian, GF, DF and carnivorous diets catered for).

Music from 7.30pm

Please note: All tickets include a 5% booking fee.
