Guided Wildlife Walk: Saturday 14 June – A Midsummer’s Dream of Sights and Sounds

By mid-June, the breeding season is in full swing. Many warblers will still be singing and guarding their territories, whilst others will already be feeding their young, At the local wetlands, all being well Avocets will be tending their chicks and duckling broods closely following mum. We will take the opportunity to study breeding behaviour but also relax and simply marvel at the sights and sounds around us. On fine days there will be butterflies and dragonflies to enjoy too.

  • Starting at 8:30am with tea and coffee at the Froize.
