Guided Wildlife Walk: Saturday 14 Mar 2026 – Spring Awakening

Lift your spirits after those long winter months by enjoying the early stirrings of spring on our local heaths. There’s a good chance of hearing the wonderful, mellifluous outpourings of a species that rivals the Nightingale for the title of Britain’s best songster – the Woodlark. And we might be lucky enough to see another heathland specialist, the unobtrusive but characterful Dartford Warbler for which our coastal heaths have thankfully become a British stronghold.
