Guided Wildlife Walk: Thursday 8th May – Nightingales and other spring songsters

A GUIDED WILDLIFE WALK

The first Sunday in May is national dawn chorus day, one that celebrates its magical cacophony. Birds actually sing well into the morning including, perhaps surprisingly, the Nightingale; we will visit a local hotspot with a good chance of hearing and even seeing this amazing songster.

Closer to home we will stroll listening for Blackcap, Garden, Reed and Sedge Warblers, Whitethroat and perhaps a Cuckoo. Do join us on an unrivalled opportunity to enjoy and learn more about bird song.

  • Starting at 8:30am with tea and coffee at the Froize.
