Guided Wildlife Walk: Thurs 8th June 2023 – Listening out for midsummer songsters

A GUIDED WILDLIFE WALK

Summer migrants will now be guarding their territories, so collectively we will take this opportunity to study breeding behaviour. With Swifts screaming overhead and warblers feeding their young, all taking place at our nearby wetland sites, Avocets will be tending their broods and ducklings closely following mum. Singing is all about breeding and the season will still be in full swing, so there will be opportunities to listen and enjoy; it will be wonderful.
